What a blessing to know that your spouse has your back when life tries to beat you up and will also tarry in communion with God when your heart is overwhelmed. Nothing is more fulfilling than that confidence that the one you are doing life with shares the same spiritual connection with you.

It is okay to share the same views on issues, have the same interests or goals, or nurse the same feelings as regards policies or politics. But when a couple has and shares the same Father God, the One to whom they join hands together and pray, that is a higher level of connection. And that is a major secret of any fulfilling marriage. A couple that goes down together on their knees before God rises higher and achieves greatness in life. Who else would you rather submit to if not The One who instituted marriage? The idea was His, the concept was His, He formed the institution, He established the union, and He knows the end from the beginning. The script and the secrets are with Him. Submission to Him guarantees you the most fulfilling union ever.
