What We Believe at Family Resource Ministry (FRM)

At Family Resource Ministry (FRM), we are firmly rooted in biblical truth and are committed to upholding God’s design for marriage, family, and relationships. Our faith is founded on God’s Word, the Bible, which is our final authority for life and practice.

1️⃣ The Trinity

We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are equal in power, glory, and authority.

🔹 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” – Matthew 28:19

2️⃣ Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory.

🔹 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
🔹 “He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” – Romans 4:25

3️⃣ The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is active today, convicting the world of sin and empowering believers to live a holy and godly life. He is our Helper, Teacher, and Guide, equipping us with spiritual gifts for the advancement of God’s kingdom.

🔹 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” – John 14:26
🔹 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses.” – Acts 1:8

4️⃣ The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and life.

🔹 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
🔹 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

5️⃣ Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. A person is saved not by works, but by trusting in Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross.

🔹 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9
🔹 “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

6️⃣ Baptism & The Holy Spirit

We believe in water baptism as a public declaration of faith in Christ and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers for victorious Christian living.

🔹 “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” – Acts 2:38
🔹 “For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.” – 1 Corinthians 12:13

7️⃣ Life After Death & Christ’s Return

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal joy of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and gloriously to establish His kingdom.

🔹 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:16

8️⃣ The Body of Christ

We believe that all true believers in Christ form one body—the Church. As the family of God, we are called to love, serve, and grow together in faith and obedience.

🔹 “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:27
🔹 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

9️⃣ Biblical Marriage & Family

We believe that marriage is a covenant relationship between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect the union of Christ and His Church. Family is God’s foundational institution for discipling the next generation.

🔹 “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” – Ephesians 6:4
